The We-Expect-ID Age Verification program is being implemented by most of the major convenience store chains and many independent stores.
Kids should not smoke. Period. Imperial Tobacco Canada has demonstrated our long-standing commitment to youth smoking prevention by contributing financially to We Expect I.D.
We Expect I.D. is a national program, developed by the Canadian Convenience Store Association. It was designed to help train retail staff to uphold underage smoking laws. and to raise public awareness of Canada’s laws governing the sale of tobacco products.
Make sure to become a member of your regional association to benefit from the We Expect I.D. program. It's not only about age verification, but also about workplace safety training, customer service training, hazardous materials training and much more.
